Welcome to the blog for the Centre for Editorial and Intertextual Research (CEIR), based in Cardiff University’s School of English, Communication and Philosophy, and founded in 1997. Since its foundation, CEIR has promoted research and networks that focus on material cultures, history of the book and digital humanities. You can find out more about the Centre by visiting the About CEIR page.
Along with updates and summaries of ongoing research projects in CEIR, this blog will also supply up-to-date information about visiting speakers, conferences, workshops and exhibitions that relate to material cultures, as well as articles by scholars on their research and links to sites of relevant interest.
As this is a blog, we hope to encourage visitors to comment and discuss issues that arise in the field and welcome your comments and questions.
You’re encouraged to keep visiting regularly (or subscribe) for more the latest details about research project and events taking place in, or associated with, the Centre.
